DCCC Delegation Visits Canton 2001/9/24
The 25-member DCCC delegation headed by its president Hu Zhiguang visited Canton from Sept. 13 to Sept. 15.
With the rapid development of Sino-Dutch economic cooperation , in August , 1999, the Dutch China Chamber of Commerce (DCCC) came into being. Ever since that , it has been engaged in encouraging more and more Dutch Chinese to set up companies or commercial entities not only in the fields of their traditional catering business but also in other businesses. It has also been helping Dutch Chinese business to go to China to seek opportunities of business cooperation.
In order to have a better understanding of the business investment environment in Canton, the delegation visited the Eagle Brand Ceramics in Fu Shan , New zhongyuan Ceramics Co. Ltd. in Nan Hai and Hualing Holdings in Guang Zhou. Mr. Wang Rongbao , deputy director of the Canton Overseas Chinese Affairs Office , extended his thanks to the DCCC delegation for its efforts on promoting the economic ties between the Netherlands and China. Hu Zhiguang , chief of the delegation thanks the Canton Overseas Chinese Affairs for its support in helping DCCC communicating with local enterprises. Mr. Hu Zhiguang continued to express his wishes to continue expanding business ties between China and the Netherlands.
It is revealed that , in order to enhance Sino-Dutch economic cooperation and communications , DCCC and the Association of Promotion for Guangdong Economy Investment (APGEI) have signed agreements of friendship and cooperation.
