The DCCC Overseas Chinese Leaders Delegation Have an Audience with Dutch Embassy in China 2004/10/22
On October 22nd, accompanied by the Subcommittee for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Compatriots and Overseas Chinese and the DCCC office in China, The DCCC Overseas Chinese Leaders Delegation went to Dutch Embassy in China and was warmly welcomed by commercial counselor Paul A Menkveld.
During the two hours’ meeting, Mr. Hu Zhiguang, chairman of the DCCC, introduced the history and recent situation of overseas Chinese in the Netherlands and their contributions, which recognized by Mr. Paul A Menkveld. Mr. Hu also told Mr. Paul A Menkveld that the DCCC would held “Sino-Europe Trade Development Proseminar & Enterprises Cooperation Conference” in the Netherlands in November 2005 and asked more supports for organizing the conference. Mr. Paul A Menkveld praised the chamber for holding such activities and said that he had known that conference from the ambassador, he showed his willingness to positively support the chamber and wish the conference made good winning. He also hoped the conference would bring more commercial chances for bilateral economic development between China and Holland.
Before the delegation left the embassy, Mr. Paul A Menkveld wished the tour of the delegation would bring home the beacon.
